UTAH DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
After completing the 270-hour apprenticeship, students must pass the state theory and practical exams to obtain their license. Exam kit and fees are the student’s responsibility.

New classes begin every 3 months. Enrollment must be at least two weeks before your desired class start date.
How do I get started?
5 simple steps

Submit your application + deposit
-You receive 2 applications during your interview! One is for TLS and the other is to submit to DOPL for your apprentice license.
-Deposit is $300 that goes towards your tuition and holds your spot!

Submit your application to DOPL + wait for your approved apprentice license!
You have to submit this application in person to DOPL. There is a $20 fee you pay to submit the application.

Once approved by DOPL. send your apprentice license to TLS .

Receive orientation date, class schedule details and finalize paperwork!
